Not sure if this is the right place for this but.....Anybody use Swiss rifle grease "AUTOMATENFETT" on there M1's or 14's? seems a little pricey for grease.

Russ...

I had a small tube that came with the cleaning kit (when I had my Swiss arms). It was great stuff and I only ever need the smallest bit of it.
There was one occasion where I used it on my M305. I did not notice any significant advantage or disadvantage over plain jane white lithium grease. That being said, the lube in the tube, gave the slight appearance as if to soak into the metal kind of like how CLP does when left on parts. Could it be an additive contained within the special high buck Swiss grease? Who knows lol maybe someone with more experience than I.
I couldn't comment on price as I have never purchased any myself. It's gone with the rifle, but it was good grease.

Clean, polish, lube shoot straight

Bloke-on-the-range posted swiss grease specs, it is a 2.75% moly grease. So, basically any high temp moly grease will do.

Lubriplate 930aa
Lubriguard Hi Temp EP Moly grease
John Deere HD Moly grease

Pretty much any readily-available grease will do; there is no need to pay a premium for a specialized product.
