I am not sure if I can post this here, but here goes.

I am wondering if these rifles are possible to obtain in Canada, how they are legislated and what the pricing is for them.

PE-57 (in 7.5 mm GP11)
and
SIG AMT (a semi-auto version of SG-510-4 in 7.62 mm NATO).

Thanks,
Drachenblut

I believe they are both prohib, by name and variant.

The closest thing you can own right now is in .223 poodle round, the PE90 series.

Sig is ALLEGEDLY working on a .308 version, with occasional prototype photos leaking around the interwebz, but no firm word on manufacture dates, or IF they will be able to get it into Canada, let alone Non-restricted like the PE90.

Swiss rifles are, simply, the best.

They are not, however, inexpensive.

NOR, are parts: $80 per magazine, for example.

Cheers,

Neal

Both Prohib.

The closest you will get is the SIG 550 SAPR in 7.62 x 51 which is being sold in Europe. At least it was on the SIG Brochures for 2009. Whether it gets into Canada is another story. If it does expect to see a price tag in the neighbourhood of $ 5,000.

Is this the semi-auto non-restricted version of the P-90?

Nope. The PE-90 is the Swiss Arms rifles, often referred to as the Black or Green Specials, seen here:

The PS-90 is the semi auto version of the FN P-90:

Confused yet? Don't worry, you're not the only one.
