What did the Swiss every do to you? :eek: ;)

Sorry, bad joke... carry on....

That's ok. One of my lines about cowboy action shooting was
"Who hates cowboys enough that they want to shoot them?" :evil:

Yep!
Should be D Range, at 300m.
There will be lots of GP11 available there for all the shooters.
That's not a worry.

Shooting desk will most likely be in the Capital Region DCRA Clubhuse,which is very close to D Range

That would be sweet, I just finished cleaning my 1911. I still need to get up the courage to strip the bolt though...

Is there any GP11 available in Ottawa right now? I'm moving back at the end of April and I want to get out and shoot it a few times before I show up at something like this and make a royal arse out of myself :D

There should be a few extra club K31s with diopters sights available for use. I will be bring a extra few for sure. Usually only takes 10 shots or less to sight in, if someone with experience tells you how many clicks it takes.

5 clicks on the diopters is two points on the ISSF 300M Rifle Targets (A.K.A Swiss A10 target) we use.
EG: if you're shooting around 8-9 pts low at 6 o'clock, correction is 5-6 clicks to bring it into the "X".

Sight corrections are same as most German target sights, you correct according to where the shot WAS, not where you want it to go.

H = Hohes = High
T = Tief = Low

R= Rechts = Right
L = Links = Left
