I've recently picked up a set of SwissArms CQB tactical forearm manufactured by B&T, and noticed that the metal clips on KAC rail covers will not engage on the rail. It will just slide back and forth. Is this due to the B&T rail being non-military standard spec? For those with similar experiences, any input would be much appreciated.

Naw it's not the rail. KAC panels require a small narrow notch cut into the front or rear portion of the rail to lock-up. Can't blame B+T for not designing their rail system around a KAC proprietary solution.

Koalorka's got it. The first and last picatinny slot need to have notches cut in either side for the KAC panels to work. Most manufacturers just do it because it's easy. Pretty sure that LaRue and Daniel Defence do it.
