Switching out my Charging Handle

I think I want to get one of those fancy charging handles with the support-side lever on it. Such as the BCM Gunfighter.

Does anyone have any experience with the BCM or any other make?
 
Hey, I run the BCM mod4 gunfighter charging handle (Questar link) and quite like it. I found with the stock charging handle, my hand slipped from time to time, and if not wearing gloves my index finger started getting pretty raw. With the BCM gunfighter handle I don't have this issue. I can engage the charging handle without slipping. I like the medium one since it has a slightly lower profile on the support side.

If you don't mind a larger profile then the mod3 would be pretty good or this one would be pretty good too.
 
The new BCM Gunfighter handle came in from Questar super-quick!

I installed it and took'er out the range yesterday. I put 200 rounds down range, and didn't run into any of the gas blow-back problems that some folks warned of.

Working the BCG with the mod3 is SOOO much nicer. That huge lever is easy for my big hands to catch, and it seems to take a bit less effort.

I'd recommend this product.
 
Get the one from Brownells. CHEAp and it works like a charm. I've slammed the #### out of it a few times and it holds up just fine. Very functional.
 
I have the BCM with the medium sized lever. It you use the charging handle during re-loads it's huge, I have total confidence hitting that thing during a re-load. I went with the med after a buddy told me his large got caught on his gear sometimes.
