Anyone know where to find one with a sling stud? Got a Winchester SXP trench and it's beautiful, handles great, and I'd really like to throw a classic 1" leather sling on it but the mag tube caps for the Trench don't come with a stud and I can't find anywhere in Canada that sells them or somewhere that will ship here. I know I could but I really don't want to drill my own cap out and jerry rig a stud on it. They're a dime a dozen when you look for ones for the 500 and the 870 but the SXP gets no love. Looking up earlier threads for people having the same problem all point to stores that no longer carry them. Anyone see one floating around an inventory somewhere I missed?

I would look for the fine machine thread and nut that Uncle Mike’s makes and drill your sxp barrel nut, I have a similar one on a Rem 870 express barrel nut that came drilled but not with a sling swivel stud. Have also done the same with a Magpul QD cup on another mag tube/barrel nut, simple to do yourself.
