SxS Nutz - Valuation Question

I'm no expert but I love classic doubles. If it fit me good I'd have no problem paying $12-1500 for it. The buttpad is fugly but I'd love to own it as a bird and bunny gun. It should be better built then any new double costing $1500 and it's a lot more pretty

Does anyone know who produce Spanish shotgun only marked "Import" on the right barrel.
Would like to know is it Eibar,Ibargun, ugartecha or similar...
Dont beleive it is AYA or something very expensive but beautifull pow stock and nice gun in all

A pic of the barrel flats might identify the maker. Often there will be initials or other identifying marks stamped into the flats on these Spanish shotguns. It will probably also be able to tell the year made. As an example, I have 2 Spanish double barrels by the same maker. One is clearly marked Lucio Loyola on the barrels. The other says nothing except for some import info. But on the barrel flats there is a CK within an oval which is the trademark for Loyola which is also stamped on my other gun. There is a list on the net that identifies the markings of various Spanish makers from the past and present.

An option for the recoil pad would be to replace it with a Silvers pad. These were used in the period, and would at least look like something fitted when the gun was younger.
