Anyone can shoot your SxS or even an O/U at the next two open pheasant shoots at La Roue du Roy. The club has 17 stations around a forest where 7 birds per shooter are released off of a hill. After every 14 bird release, the shooters rotate a blind. We use Blueback pheasants that fly WAY OUT THERE and make it a challenging shoot. The birds are gutted, plucked and vauum packed in neat bags. The price is $215CDN and two shoots are available to the public: Nov 13 and 20th. Proper attire and good waterproof boots are needed! Mike Howell and a number of great UK shooters have found our club shoots as good if not better than Scottish driven bird shoots. You should see some of the TOP clay shooters miss our birds!!!

We use a large forest with a hill inside. The closes two man camouflaged blind is 100 yards away. The birds get to go fast and you don't see where they came from except from somewhere in the forest. Some top shooters including Mick Howell from England claim that it is better than most Scottish pheasant shoots. Plus it cost far less than shooting birds in the US nevermind the UK. In the UK, you don't even get to keep the birds. They are sold to the local butcher shop. I have a friend who goes across the pond for a week of bird shooting. It costs him $25K, not including hotel and airfare!

Nov 13 shoot is canned. Nov 20 shoot nearly full and we will probably have a full shoot on Nov 21.
