Big thanks to the Sydenham club for hosting their sporting clays shoot yesterday.
A year ago, I issued a challenge to Claybuster to go head to head at Sydenham.
Yesterday, he handed me my ass.
I have been used , beaten (fairly) and generally abused.
The saving grace after driving 3 hrs to get trounced.....beautiful venue..... Nice targets...friendly people and EXCELLENT burgers. They were so good they almost made my slice of humble pie served up by Clay Buster palatable.

If you are not attending this shoot... You are missing a lot of fun.
And in my case yesterday.... A beautiful walk in the woods.

The playing field was hardly level. You were using a recently-acquired .410 o/u against my 12 gauge o/u that I've been shooting almost exclusively for the last two years. Switch guns and I'd be the one eating humble pie.

It was a great day. Sydenham is a fine gun club, good targets and great burgers!!!!

Hmmm... .410 vs. 12 ga sounds like a David vs. Goliath battle. LOL

Sydenham, eh?

... google that...

yup, 5 hour drive from Kingston. Sounds about right.

(every time I hear mention of a nice SC course, it's hours away from me. I live on the wrong side of the Province to be a sporting clays lover:()
