Syn Stock on a Pre 1968 760 rem pump

Does anyone know for sure if the black rem syn stocks sets will fit a pre 1968 remington model 760 pump. I know they will fit post 68 but not sure on the earlier ones.I don't want to order one unless I am 100% sure and the dealer cannot tell me.

The Ramline stock set bolted up to my 760 carbine no problem....I believe my gun was made between '60 - '64 according to the numbers from Rem. PM me if you wanna see some pics

I think you'll be ok as long as your rifle does not have the forend tube that contacts the barrel.
