Hey, gotta couple Q's for you guys:

...figured i'd try something new with the rifles bought a while back.

-Are plastic stocks for the M1 Garand and other mil surp rifles are legal in Canada?

-If they are, is there any Canadian websites that carry these stocks?

-Lastly are there restrictions on buying a plastic Garand stocks from the states (in case i cant find them in Canada)

Ditto..... Plastic sucks on a Garand, but hey, that's just IMHO. You "can" get stocks sent to you from the States, if the declared falue in under $100US. Other than that, the dealer will have to get an export permit for it, you'll have to get an import one as well (Canada dosen't say you need it, the US Government does...)

I agree.. you can see the difference...

I much prefer the wood look...

the wood looks better But my father inlaw when hunting puts the sysnthetic on so that he wont damage a butiful walnut stock.
