Synthetic heat shields in Canada?

Hey guys, I'm interested in picking up a synthetic heat shield for my 870 to replace the crappy banged up metal ATI one I have. I'm looking for one similar to this, the 'john masen'- http://www.midwayuk.com/John-Masen-Heat-Shield-Remington-870-12-Gauge-Synthetic-Black

Any source for these in Canada? I don't much feel like paying out the nose for FedEx or UPS shipping fees from the states and all the ebay listings wont ship to Canada.

To reduce the chance of having your hand touch a hot barrel after the firing of numerous rounds.
Pointless on a HD gun though, since its likely to not ever continuously shoot multiple rounds in succession. (unless using it to practice with at the range.)
Most just install them for aesthetic reasons though.

What's the purpose of a heat shield?

One reason is to stop the barrel from resting on your forearm while doing a reload. I've got a polymer one on my hatsan MPA and it's awesome. I never have to worry about burning my arm.

I'm trying to visualize how the barrel could rest on the forearm when reloading.
You must be turing the SG over with the loading port "up". Even in this position you're holding the SG by the receiver and the barrel is not near your forearm…unless I'm missing something.
