Hello, I'm new to CGN and I hope this is on the right forum! I have a 1895 Marlin Guide Gun which is used mostly for protection while backpacking. I would like to lighten this up and I thought I would start with the stock. The only manufacturers I have heard of that make one is Wild West Guns but it doesn't say anything on their website. Does anyone have any suggestions. Also, what else could be replaced or customized on the gun without compromising the internal parts for heavier loads.
