Hey guys,
Just wondering what's out there in terms of synthetic stocked rifles in safari Calibers over .30Cal.

Was looking at the HS Precision Take Down but the wait is too long.

Maybe something in .416Rem, Rigby or 458Rem

If you want a take down you could look at Sauer 202, Mauser M03 and Blaser R93.

All offer a Synthetic option I believe

CZ has a very nice new synthetic big bores, I was just looking at them yesterday.

Never shot one though, but hopefully soon enough.

I wouldn't mind hearing from someone that has shot it out in the field.

I think that the 202 is only available as a wood stock take-down. Reimer Johansen makes a t/d, but again only in wood.

Remington has the Kevlar Safari Custom, but it is push feed and the price is, imho, insane for what you get - unless you can find a good used one.

What about Winchester's new Safari? I am sure you could get a nice synthetic stock for it from one of the better manufacturers like Brown.

Two other choices are the Kimber Talkeetna and the Sako Stainless Synthetic or the Kodiak - however all are available in .375 H&H and the latter has a laminate stock.
