Hi folks,

I was finally able, yesterday, to see where my bullets were going at 100m with my T-97. Previously, at 50m the rifle was shooting about 4" high. At 100m, It seem to shoot about 8" high (gut feeling). All the shooting was done resting with the stock iron sight. I am not entirely sure if it come from the sight themselves, or if my sight picture is not correct. Did anyone had to adjust elevation on their T-97 ?

Thanks.

I shot my buddies on the weekend. It was printing maybe 2" high at 100m for me, and the owner said just below point of aim for him. No two people seem to look through a set of Iron sights exactly the same. Just adjust yours for yourself and be done with it. I never assume any rifle I buy, new or used, with iron sights will be adjusted correctly for my sight picture. However, I'm always pleased when they are.

I had to adjust mine slightly. In your case, the front post needs to be raised a little. ENJOY!!!

Cheers
Jay

Yup.. just raise the front post to zero at 100 yards. FYI, at 25 yards (for a 100 yd zero), the POI should be approximately 2.5 inches below the POA depending on the ammunition used. :)
