Does anyone know a barrel maker for t/c encore barrels in Canada. I'm looking to buy or have made either a 6mm creedmore or a 6mm remington, any info would be appreciated as all I can find are U.S. based. Tks in advace if you can help me. Jim

Ron at Nine35 can import them for you. Good guy to deal with. His site is a bit dated. Give him an email with what you want and he’ll get back to you with time frame and price. I have ordered SSK barrels through him for the Contender G2.

The two main manufacturers of barrels in the states are SSK and Bellum. You have to go through an importer to get anything new. Used barrels are available in Canada but the calibers you mention are not very common so not surprised you can’t find them in Canada. T/C has new owners that plan to start production again but will likely produce the more common stuff that quickly sells before they start producing small runs of not so common calibers. If your not interested in having a barrel imported then your going to be searching for awhile.
Even with T/C up and running the US market will be filled first before we get anything in Canada.
The G1 barrel i bought 16” 300 whisper stainless from SSK cost just over $700 last fall. Not cheap but you get what you want.

Thanks for the info guys I don't mind paying a premium if I could lay my hands on what I want 6mm rem. first choice and 6mm creedmoor second just because there is lots of 6.5 creedmoor around for a good supply of reloading brass, just have to keep shopping I guess , thanks Jim
