I've been shooting Contenders since the early 1980's they are a fun setup to play with.
My last two non-restricted G2 frames came from IRUNGUNS.com
I have over the years purchased them directly from Canadian stores plus got into the carbines before the US export laws changed at first I was able to just have them shipped directly to me from the States now the best bet is IRUNGUNS that is if you buy thru them.
Ron at nine35 is a great guy to deal with I totally recommend his company.
T/C Contender carbines have been my go to hunitng carbines for over 25 years now started out with one with a 21" barrel chambered in 30-30 it is now a wildcat 308 Bellm = 150gr bullets at 2620fps shot some nice game including my biggest ever antlered mule deer buck with that combo.
I shot my last years blacktail buck with a 21" barreled Contender in 7-30 Waters bought the complete rifle from a guy on HuntingBC the year before buck was shot with a 14" barrel in 338JDJ #2 bought here on the EE it was a complete handgun I sold the restricted frame and installed the barrel onto a non-restricted frame year before that was a factory 23" barrel in 6.8SPC that I had shortened to 19 " for balance in 6.8SPC actually up until this year I have used Contenders every year for the last 11 years to take my bucks.
I have sold as many barrels as I have had over the years always a fun combo to play with swapping around barrels other barrels I have right now are 19" 204 Ruger, 21" 223, 21" 35 Rem, 21" 375 Win, 14" and 21" 375JDJ, 18" 10mm, 22" 45-70 and 24" Gonic 50 cal magnum muzzle loader barrels.
