I have read there was a recall on the safety, but was unaware or one on the trigger. What was the issue?

IIRC it was an issue with the sear. Either way the fix was to replace trigger group, I think that would take care of both issues.

I'm pretty sure the second recall fixed both issues when they replaced the trigger group. I hadn't sent my venture in for the first recall but sent it in for the second and had it back within two weeks of sending it in. I love my venture in .270 one of my favorite firearms.
