How many sleeps for you?

It's 12 days till bird season here, so you guys up N be sure to get out hunting to put some pressure on them, maybe turn the lights out earlier or something, 'cause there's hardly any geese here yet and no big ducks.

26 days till we leave for our moose hunt. Went out this aft. and looked around the hunting trailer and could find nothing to do except add the fresh food and water last minute. Guess I could wax the truck?

Sept 8 for goose here...
Today went out and bought another goose floater. Checked the decoy lines and anchors. Measured out some burlap to help cam up the jon boat, and watched a PVR'd episode of the Fowl Life and MOJO migration. Can't wait for the opener!!!

Leaving for moose/ bear/waterfowel and grouse camp any day and staying until freeze up, d#m I will miss at least a month of archery deer and fall turkey.

Sept 8th for goose here.
Had a whole flock go over my office today. I heard them from inside and ran to the window, opened it and stuck my head out to watch them, then I jumped around in a fit of joy for a few minutes before getting back on my computer and looking at hunting ####

10 more sleeps till early honkers. Gotta all my soliders ready for the field, got about 100 floaters done, so another 60 or so and the battle group will be ready for water stuff.

Sept 6 for geese and the 20th for partridge... I don't think I can oil/fondle my sxs any more... well, maybe just a little...

I'm in with the Sept 8th crowd. It will be my first season in Ontario for geese, I've only hunted geese for 1 season previous but that was in Manitoba so I'm not sure how it will stack up lol.

Early Honkers opens the 8th but I won't be hunting until the 10th. For the first time in a while I have a few early season fields that might actually pan out.
