Finally got the .223 out to the range.
Very windy day, but nice enough (blowing right to left).

Was tedious breaking it in. Only took 3 shots to get the scope on target (was high, but centered).

All shooting was at 100 yds, but here is my first 5-shot group after 3 singles and clean, and 3 threes and clean.

I have only shot 3 centrefire rifle rounds before today in my life (LOTS of rimfire though).

Flyer is totally my fault. Didn't have a good cheek weld..and was thinking about resetting by cheek on the stock when I pulled the trigger. This with 45 grain factory Winchester. Looking forward to trying heavier loads. The coin is a dime.

As most here say, the T3 is a shooter, in any variation.

This is a three shot group just prior to cleaning and taking the five. Did I miss, or is that 2 in one hole....I honestly don't know, but I was on the paper all day.

Looks good, marlin60. Every Tikka I ever met was a shooter. ;)

Now they're producing a Super Varmint in .204 Ruger ! Should be a beaut. :D

Thanks CV.

Not as good as other targets posted here, but this is my first centrefire experience ever (except 3 rounds, 20 years ago).

Looking forward to honing my skills, but the T3 will entertain me for some time I'm sure.

Tikka in 204?

CV32...you mentioned Tikka is making a 204 now. I'm looking for one, but my understanding was they don't make one yet. Nothing at local dealers and I don't see it on thier website. Can you tell me where you heard they are making a 204. I want one!!
