T3 lite stock - same for both long and short action?

I just bought a T3 lite composite stock. However, since the T3 action is the same for the 308 family and longer 30-06 family, does that mean the stock is usable on either? Any body know?

Cool - I figured (and hoped) that.

I bought the take off T3 composite stock today so at least I have it in my hands. The actual T3 Walnut Hunter in 30-06 I have coming won't arrive for a week or so. So if the barrel channel matches, I should now have a good all weather utility stock for it that should fit. The wood on those Tikkas can be awfully perty - like to preserve it.
 
Super - thanks for the additional info. Glad it will fit. This also makes my stock purchase a better investment with such versatility for other calibres.
