Ive been thinking that the tikka tactical would make a good yote and gopher gun when chambered in 223. but i Just dont know about the barrel length either 20 or 24". I would get the Trg muzzle break for the gun(just to spice up the looks mostly) so it would come out what 2" longer? whats the optimum barrel length for the 223? would the groups open up more at longer distance between the 20 and the 24" barrel? also anyone with personal experience with the t3 tacical please let me know what you think of it.

I am with TheCanuck on this one. Can't justify the price difference personally, but it's your call. For that price though, I'd be looking at building a strong Remmy 700 personally.
Yeah i did too. The T3 tactical is the first rifle i checked out too. Was looking for a something that looked like it could be in your local SWAT team's arsenal. I searched the web for about a month, then i decided to buy a remmy 700P. It's got the same mate finish, with a better stock than the T3, although it is not adjustable. Also, they shoot REAL well.
