T3X Arctic

I ordered a five round mag from Stoeger hoping it would be a lower profile mag. To my disappointment, it is exactly the same profile as a 10 rounder. It’s basically a pinned 10 rounder…and a pointless expenditure.

As M1008 pointed out, the stamped metal of the CTR/Arctic mags are identical to the Sako TRG-22 mag. The Tikka mag has some additional plastic/rubber cladding so it won’t fit the TRG (without mods to the cladding). However, the more expensive TRG-22 mags work fine in the Tikka.
The Tikka CTR mags fit the TRG-22 A1 without modification and are a decent savings compared to Sako mags. The bottom plastic is also nicer IMO.

Why? The rifles are almost exclusively used for personal hunting and bear protection
The day is quickly coming where they will likely be the first to welcome 'foreign visitors' looking for unprotected natural resources.

I've seen the requirements for the trial on here, iirc they call for a push feed, magazine fed, wood stocked bolt action with peep sights.

Maybe someone has them and can post it.

I feel like freeze thaw from going in and outside is what is delaminating these stocks, really extreme heaves or ruptures breaking layers.
