I was probably one of the first in Canada to receive mine as it was a pre-order so I have a fair amount of miles on it now. No durability issues and I haven't babied it except for the foam cheek piece gets scarred up. Thought I would use the folding feature much more than I actually do.
As was mentioned nothing comes close to having the amount of features per ounce.
The size and shape of the trigger guard is beneficial when predator hunting in the winter with large gloves and the inherent warmth of the carbon fiber is nice as well. Mag release paddle is one of the best designs I've used.
I like the fact that the handguard is easily removed with a few screws as it allows me to fit it in my barrel vise and swap barrels as I often do without removing the action from the stock.
Have both Carbon and Steel barrels and don't have a specific preference. Long barrels look goofy with the short handguard IMHO but thats personal preference.
Downsides are that it is noisy.
When the wind is rippin' and the rifle is pointed a certain way the hole in the grip makes a sound like blowing on a whistle. Piece of tape fixed that.
It is noisy when when stalking through thick bush when twigs brush against it.
The normally quiet Tikka safety now has a barely audible click as the sound resonates.
In summary I enjoy mine for the price point that I bought it two years back, I would not pay the increased price for a new one today, instead I would snag one off the EE as they pop up quite regularly.
