Can anyone tell me what you get with the T3X Super Varmint Stainless, over the regular Varmint Stainless, other than an adjustable cheek weld, a rubber bolt knob cover, and a screw on picatinny rail?

Seems like a lot of extra $$ ($2000++ vs $1400) for very little in extras. Doesn't even have a fluted bolt or threaded muzzle like the normal (non stainless) super varmint.

Maybe I'm missing something?

Your expertise, as always, is sincerely appreciated...

What’s your intended use?

Tikkas are so easy to accessorize these days. Get a CTR and you’ll have a threaded muzzle, picatinny rail, and bolt knob. Use the 600$ you save to buy an MDT XRS chassis and a 10$ YoDave trigger spring and you’ll probably be happy with it until you decide to get another barrel.

I would buy as basic as possible, get a Spuhr rail with MOA as required. Stocks are ok but there is much better on the market meaning the original stock might go in the bin anyway. Saying that with the CTR you do get a nice mid weight threaded barrel as well as a good ten shot mag/ alu mag system as well as rail. Stock still be replaced.
