t81 5 rounds magazine

Man even if they could bring them in didn’t that 1 demo prototype 5rd mag sell for $80 alone, if you want a metal 5rd ak style mag your better off tracking down those 5rd sks d mags and modifying them for the type 81.
 
i was the one who bought the prototype. It honestly wouldn't be worth it. I got it for my "canadian collection". Its the same magazine just 5-10 round length for the spring and thats it. even the weight savings are negligible

The army makes 30 round mags and they just pin them for our purposes. At the price TI was offering i imagine theyd be more expensive by atleast 50% as few people would want them.

Part of the AK look is the mag.


people have had success converting ak mags to t81, so if anything i would recommend looking for 5 rounders to get converted/convert yourself
