Yes, I know.
People will say “if you don’t like it, don’t buy it”.
But my gripe is more a comment on human nature.
TI is selling T81 underfolders. With 3rd mag, GST and shipping, it comes to $1312.50 (no PST in Alberta).
Seeing the exact same thing on the EE for $1450 plus shipping makes me shake my head.
I am assuming that a private purchase also does not come with a transferable warranty.
Makes me wonder what goes through some peoples minds.

Perhaps, those selling for $1450 paid an HST (13%)?

there is a long delivery waiting period. if you want it now and getting for essentially same price... whats the issue?
at least it isnt fixed stock for 2500 lol

There’s already an I have had enough of Scalper’s thread lol, do we really need another? As you said, don’t like the price? Then don’t buy it.

I was not interested in buying it - especially after seeing the $3k fixed stock for sale at the Calgary Show! Very tempting (sarcasm). It was more just trying to figure out a persons mind set to advertise what is essentially a pre owned item for more than it costs for a new one, when the dealer still has new ones in stock.

Now do this with housing lol

Should have just stuck with the “don’t like it don’t buy it” .. anytime someone posts these post everyone just assumes you don’t want to fork out the cash for a new one so you hope to find on on the EE for 40% less then market value.

Us in Ontario have to pay more in taxes, do your homework instead of shaking your head... Want a copy of my invoice?

NS got it worst. 15% no matter where you buy it.. got an invoice accidently for someone in SASK.. 700$ order they paid like 30$. I calculated the taxes and I was paying 70$ more.

Anybody in Edmonton or area? There is a guy in Sherwood Park who sells a SE fixed stock unfired with Sigmaco stuff worth 4/500 (new, not installed). He wants 1,600 shipped. I can hook you up with a phone number, Just PM me.

TI only imports the FINAL SHIPMENTS every once and a while so the prices go up iv seen them go for 4k. I said that to a gunshop owner when I bought my first ak polish beryl in 556 for $1200. if these were legal guns to buy back home in canada it would be a $4000 rifle

You're not wrong... it's an observation.

People try to sell things for more than they paid (or what they paid) often.

To each their own.

What I find humorous is when they they claim a valid offer is low balling.

on the flip side i saw an used underfolder asking $1000. if you're interested, would you refuse the asking and offer $100 more?
