T81 help

Hey, I got my t81 folding stock today and I’m trying to get the cheek rests off. I tried searching the threads as I’m new here but there is way too much stuff to go through. I have removed the screw but what method do I use to remove the clips to get them off stock ? I don’t wanna damage the gun.

Remove the cleaning rods from the rear of the cheek rest , using a flashlight peer in the cavity and using a screw driver stick it in and flip the clip down.
