WHAT IS EVERYONE USING FOR AMMO? whoops- sorry- just debating whether to order 5.56 or keep shooting .223 as it is non corrosive etc. Your experience and advice would be appreciated, Thanks.

I'm not- was just a guess as I have never used or fired 5.56. Have a ton of .223 and a lot of corrosive for SKS rifles I own, so maybe corrosive was a bad term and I should have used the term "surplus". I was just curious about using a shell with less force (.223) than that of the 5.56. Would it make any difference to the selector setting on the T97?

That t97 seems to feed whatever I feed it I like the cheap stuff I heard it can be loaded hot but it's a cheap Chinese gun to begin with and practically what they use in there own military. Chrome lined barrel and if ya don't get it to hot it would last a long damn time. Pmc is very good a no for the price FYI. I was just wondering what you meant by corrosive as even the cheapest stuff is not corrosive. Anyways have fun but my humble suggestion would be to shoot as much as you can for me that means ammo by the crate.

The norinco ammo is the ammo that tends to be the root of some feeding problems. Just remember that. I have been using it and it seems to work quite well for my rifle so far. However people have reported bullets being pushed back into the casing with norinco ammo.

on reliable store, t97 was on sale $850, but not available now. Do your guys know where still is on sale?
