T97 Gen2

Hi,

I have a Gen2 T97 and have run about 2k rounds through it. I have only witnessed 2 errors with it while trying to use a brass catcher which were both user errors.

I was wondering what anyone else may have experienced and if there was anything I should look out for maintenance wise?

Just clean it and don't lose any parts. There is no aftermarket or spares network.

If you buy a second one and put it away, your great grand children might need it as a 3D template to fabricate a worn part. Maybe.

Mine has yet to see 1k rounds, but has some wear on the aluminum receiver in front of the feed ramp, on top of which the striker glides. It also went full auto once due to dirty bolt. I guess cleaning and lube are very important to T97 Gen 2.

I have been pretty good at cleaning regularly so far and want to keep that up.

I how ever did not know there there were no spare parts so that is something I will have to look into and make sure I don't lose any parts.
