t97 magwell

Just bought a T97 and I'm noticing the magwell is pretty tight on all the mags I have minus the one that came with the rifle. Pmags fit but its tight and I really have to pull hard to get them to pop out. I'm guessing a little filing is in order. Anyone with experience in the matter know where the problem areas in the magwell are that need to be filed?

Check page 2 in the T97 thread at the top of this forum. I did this mod with no issues in a few hundred rounds. 2nd and 3rd Gen Pmags work great now.

Yes, just that rib and do just a very little bit at a time. Keep checking it with all your mags in between filling. You do not want to make it to loose.
