T97 normal wear and tear

I bought a T97 at the beginning of the summer, shot about 500 rounds with it so far, it works well, however there seems to be a spot on the receiver where the aluminum rail gets unusually "eroded" by the bolt.
So, I'm getting concerned as this is getting larger.
That point is on the left rail close to the front of the receiver, on the top side, as the bolt rotate to unlock, it aligns the large slit with the left rail, it then start to move backward engaging the rail from both side (top and bottom), unlike the right side where the bolt only makes contact with top of the rail.

I understand that some normal wear and tear will happen, I don't mind it, otherwise I would just...not use it. but that's seems to be a little more than normal, on the picture you can see that there's some kind of a pit forming , followed by a much more "normal" trail where only the anodized black finish is missing...

I don't expect the anodized finish to stay when there's steel parts sliding on, but I don't expect erosion to get that bad. It's hard to really get a 2D picture to show that clearly, but when I touch it, I clearly feel a pit/dent/bite in the metal

So, does your T97 shows similar pattern, does it stabilize eventually?
I decided to use some fine sand paper and make sure the edge of the slit on the bolt is smooth and slightly rounded.

Thanks

Where exactly is this happening on the gun?

I have probably 2800 rounds through mine with nothing like that that I've noticed... There is smooth wear on the rails the striker slides on but nothing sharp like that.

I have this picture taken from a different camera (and angle and lightning) , the details in the metal don't show up but it is easier to see where the dent is, look at the left rail (I wrote previously "right rail" my bad), just where the bolt leaves the locking lug and engages the rail.

pic didn't work for me

I won't worry about it, with any mechanical parts you expect a small amount of wear initially as corners and edges gets rounded off, once the contact surfaces are broken in it should slow down until you hit the expected round count.

Mine has a similar wear pattern without the deep gouge. My guess is that you have a sharp edge on the outside of the bolt guide.

If you slowly slide your bolt from closed to open, with your rifle disassembled, do you see the edge of the bolt digging in?

I checked for any sharp edge, I didn't see anything suspicious, a week ago I sanded all the edges on the bolt where they could make contact with that rail, I'll keep an eye on that, see how it evolves.

There's one thing I noticed before, and now I think it might be the source of the problem, the ejector seems to be very slightly too low, when the bolt carrier slides around it, the friction is much stronger, the under side (visible through the mag well) is literally polished while the top side is untouched. that seems to push the carrier downward a bit and with it, the bolt.

I just tried to wedge a thin L shaped metal piece, it seems to hold well and it raises the ejector just enough that I no longer have that friction point, I hope that it will hold when the gun fires (next Saturday).
The ejector also now align with the top of the rail, it used to be a little bit lower as the wear on the rail tells.
