As anyone who's read it knows, the T97NSR manual is pretty sparse, an doesn't even cover things like what the gas regulator is, and that it comes in the "off" position from the factory and so the rifle wont cycle until you change it. I am in the process of writing a more thorough guide, that includes some background history, PLA handling practices, fixes for common issues and differences between the commercial and "real" models. However, I am struggling to find reference material.
On the first page of the sticky there's some interesting stuff for the observant: The original T97 had a pile of features that were deleted on the current offering, like a bolt follower disconnecter, that would keep the hammer from falling until the bolt is full forward. Or the reinforced cup for the recoil buffer in the buttstock. (Not to mention the front sight and the bayonet lug!)

Another thing that caught my attention was:
So thats information not given in our current manuals, and also indicates the sight settings on the older rifles were different! I'm a bit curious about what else might be in there.
I was wondering if anyone still had the manual for their old T97As before they went prohib? Would they be willing to lend it to me, or scan it into a PDF?
As a side note if anyone who bought a QBU88 from TI would be willing to take some photos of the action that'd be cool, I'm curious about it as well and how closely related it is to the QBZ.

From the Manual:
• Service life of the rifle is 6000 rounds. I find this to be much underestimated and others have shot T97's with more than 20,000 rounds through them.
• Rear sight is calibrated for 1,3,400 yards.
