Tac 14 barrel to thin for threading?

I have been looking into threading my Tac 14 for Rem chokes but have been told i need an od of .920 for threading to work...i Only read .892 so thinking wont work...any info would be great. Thx

Call Peter at Rusty wood trading, if it’s not thick enough for Remchokes he’s got a couple thinner wall choke options and does great work.

It can be done for Remchokes or others. I have done lots of them.
