Here's a zany question:

Say I had a Surefire forward grip on my 12g shotgun...

Since it's the only shotgun I own, I might want to do some bunny hunting with it.

If I were stopped during hunting season and had a functional light mounted to a firearm, would I be in danger of being accused of Jacking Deer if I were to come across a Conservation Officer?

Here's a picture of me hunting rabbit with Sarah Polly for illustrative purposes:

1/2 hr before sunrise to 1/2 hr after sunset during hunting season, and I would think you should be OK....During hunting season, after those hrs, the firearm should be unloaded or cased...
If you are out wandering around at 0300 with it, then yeah, its going to be a problem I think.
