I'm looking at the stock guts of a Norinco synthetic/plastic stock. Not sure if the cheek rest drilled holes are going to impact on either the cleaning kit tubes (don't care, I don't use them) or the butt plate screw channels. Even if they clear both, is there any issue of the stock being able to support the tension of the tightened rest?

Tips? Tricks? Suggestions?

(No, the search button didn't help)

Thanks!

I mounted mine with no problems, your Tac Pro screws will go through the cleaning kit tubes, but will not effect your screw channels. If you are going that route get the rubber butt pad and get rid of the metal, I have a spare one, if interested PM me.

Well I got riser/rest and got it installed. I took out the kit tubes and installed as per directions.

The screw channels got dinged a bit but that didn't affect the butt plate re-installation. I even got the kit tubes back in although they are in contact with the with the rest bolts. Squeezed in no problem :HR:
