Tac sol barrels and full rifles?

I was never expecting this rifle to be the most accurate 22 I own, but a do expect it will be the most fun. I am hoping that it will help get my son away from the computer and out to the range.

This is good to hear, I'm still curious what wins thought. A CZ455 or a Dlask ? The Tactical Solutions X-Ring 10/22 Vantage SLT still has my eye though, light weight. Tons of people claim great accuracy.

I still am on the fence about dropping over 1000 bucks on a 10/22 type rifle when that could get me a cz455 with an aftermarket barrel

you cant compare a bolt action to a semi, its not apple and apples.
i have both and while i prefer the DAR at the end of the day i know the CZ will be just a mm tighter.

what stock is that and how well does it fit and is it stiff. Jeff

Dlask Arms DAR-22 First Impressions
Just received my DAR-22 and thought I would show it off a bit. I chose Dlask because I believe they make the best 10/22 style receiver. I upgraded to the KIDD Two Stage and added Dlask's nitride bolt to get the best performing action possible.
I opted for a sport chambered basic 16.5" barrel because I read that these can be quite accurate. Stuck a 10x bushnell elite on it and headed to the range.View attachment 88304

I know, it saddens me. I know the DLASK would be fun, inner me strives to push accuracy though. I guess I will have to end up with both lmfao.

Trying to get a 10/22 to be an extremely accurate target rifle can be a time consuming, expensive and frustrating experience (at least that has been my experience). If you look at the successful list on the 1/2" at 50 yard challenge ( https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/895924-My-22-shoots-1-2-quot-groups-at-50-yards-meters-all-day!-Really-Prove-it! ) there are only a handful of 10/22's on the list. I have come very close but never made the list with my 10/22, but made it easily with my CZ455. However, I am going to give it one last try - I just purchased a Kidd 20" stainless bull barrel and will use it to replace my Green Mountain barrel (that replaced my Dlask barrel). Hopefully I will find some ammo that works well with this barrel and finally make the list.

ps:
Canadiankeeper; you don't need an after market barrel on a CZ455, mine came with a factory fluted bull barrel and thumbhole stock, and is extremely accurate (there is a used one on the EE right now).

I find the thumbhole stocks are the only ones I don't need to upgrade the stocks on.

I'm eyeing up a CZ 455 "grey" thumbhole with the fluted barrel.... I think it with a leup scope would look class AF and do the jobs I need it to.

An excellent choice, if I do say so myself:

Oh, yes... You have sold it for me.

DIP rail ? I'm ok with the 11mm dove tail.. Thinking a nice leopold optic though. I cant shake the need of that beautiful gold band.

You don't need the DIP rail, but since I have multiple scopes and multiple rifles, I like to be able to swap them around if and when needed with no need for additional rings. Every scope I have has picatinny rings.
