It is pretty busy this year - way more people than last year. I could not even get though to talk to the Cadex crews.

These spring loaded manual action rifles are more sophisticated than what I expected. Apparently lots of people bought super short barreled like 12.5” 308 for blasting things and pests

I think this is a bit pricy but the $ is mostly for the software because they don’t do subscription - the gadget is the tiny laser hanging off the barrel. It tracks the movements of the barrel on the phone or a tablet, and then it analyzes on what you’re doing right and what you’re doing wrong. It then pumps out a list of recommendations that you can do to improve your shooting. very neat I actually see this a very useful tool especially in precision rifle shooting like PRS

The x10 elite is the flagship model. There are cheaper models but they have less features.

It doesn’t use a laser at all. It uses an accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer. The software analyzes the movement and spits out the recommendation. It’s an invaluable training tool. I’ve used it extensively for a couple of years now but only for handgun training.

I still use the first version of MantisX and absolutely love it. It improved my handgun shooting skills despite a complete lack of talent and any prerequisites to be a good shooter. Now, I'm trying to get to PCC and planning to use MantisX for training too.
