Taci-pulls for a Mini?

I would like to get some tacti-pulls for my Mini-14 mags. Anybody hear or know of anything like this?

Here is my reasoning.......

I've tried a bunch of different after market mags in my minis. The only mags that work all of the time every time are the ones with a ruger stamp on the bottom.

Problem is some don't 'drop free' from all my rifles. Some do, some don't. some in one but not in others & vice-a-versa.

I had this idea of a bottom bit made out of 'plastic' that would replace the bit on there already. Then I looked at my LAR-10 mags and realized that there is an outfit out there that makes tacti-pulls, that would work!..... But they (the AR ones) don't fit my mini mags.......

Do they make these?

To fit these?

Forgive me if I am confused, but how will these pulls make your mags drop free? Or did I miss your point?

Mini is a great little rifle!

Don't get me wrong - my mini 14 is my truck gun and I take it everywhere, but I can't see how a tactipul will help. If I hit the mag release, my 5 round mags just fall free. I think those tactipuls are more for pulling mags out of mag pouches, and thus would not really help 5 round mags much.

Firstly I'll make some points......

1- Ruger 5 rnd mags are the only mags worth a spit in a mini-14.

2- I find I need a 'bit' more meat on a mag to 'pull' them free in all rifles.

3- I have yet to find an aftermarket 10, 20 or 30 rnd mag that works as well (once seated in the magwell) as a ruger 5 rnd mag.

Maybe I should have said ranger plate....

I'm not wanting to put it on the bottom to use it as a pulling device to remove the mag from a may pouch or to pull it out of the rifle.

I am looking for a solid chunk of plastic to double the length of the mag to make mag changes easier. It would also make it much easier to seat a mag or 'pull' out a stubborn one......

I wish I could draw a picture of what I am talking about......

I own a mini 30 myself and know exactly what you are talking about;
because you rotate the mags to insert and to remove, an extension makes both seating and removing much easier. anyone who owns a m305 or m14s and 5 round mags should know.

this was the whole reason I've been looking for extended mags for my mini 30.

thus far I have not found anyone who makes such a device for mini mags.
maybe a pocket in the bottom of the mag with something even epoxied in?

I'd take a closer look at your mags..maybe you can do a lill bit of squeezing and hit it with a file. all my fall right out. I got myself 4 O.E ruger mags, two were tightish. gave them some tlc and they fall right out now. what we need is some ten rounder's that are legal.....just sayin

I ordered some polyeurathane pieces.

Hopefully I can make my own pulls....

I tried C-products pulls, they are too wide. If I trim them to fit they will no longer work for the LAR-10 they are curenntly instaled on.

I looked at a buddies ranger plate, same thing.

I had a couple of the c-products mag couplers. I was able to trim one to fit the ruger mag but they don't want to stay there, unless I make it permanant....... Which I am un-willing to do as it makes the mags look a bit ghey.....

I'll post some pics up if anyone is interested in seeing how it worked/looked.....
