Tacpull baseplate not coming off...

Hey guys,

recently I got some LAR15 mags, I thought I would try out the tacpull baseplates and now that I want to take it off... it isn't making it easy. Something on the baseplate is catching the spring. I can only take the baseplate so far off, and I am not able to push the spring off the baseplate.

has this happened to anyone else? any ideas or suggestions?

This is the farthest the baseplate will move.

looks like the spring is blocking it . use a flat screw driver to get the spring off .

I just got the base off, and I think I will leave it off! I don't much care for them.

I've switched my tacplates among various mags with no issues at all.

Sometimes the spring will catch a bit, but I just wiggle the plate around and it comes off pretty quick.
