Tactical gun clubs/competition

hello this is my first post on gun nutz

i live in Regina Sask and i was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere someone can go and perhaps participate in the sport of "tactical" gun shooting (AR-15's and variants is what I'm mostly interested in). from my quick searches on the net it does not seem that this a sport readily practiced in canada and most people seem to travel to the states for this.

the range in my area are only setup for bench rest type shooting and does not allow shooting from the standing position, or FMJ ammo, not that the ammo choice is a deal breaker, but it is a lot cheaper.

I'm mostly just hoping for a place and time i can go and participate with other people interested in the sport, gets pretty boring playing by myself.

I've looked at RWF it doesn't seem like they do much of what I'm interested in, or at least they don't publish any info of such an activity being regularly practiced. i would like to focus on a discipline that recreates "tactical" scenarios (for lack of better term) such as 3-gun or a variation of it. i just don't want to focus on only hand gun i like shooting my rifle way to much, and bench rest style shooting is to....repetitive.
 
sorry i just realized that there is a specific channel on this forum for the style of shooting I'm looking into, so i have reposted my question there.
 
Follow us on facebook at Sask Tactical. We just shoot IDPA pistol currently at the RWF and are trying to hold some 3-gun competitions. Also there are some folks in Dundurn trying to start CQB matches regularly. Info on those can be found on the service rifle forum. Feel free to PM me with any questions or ask on facebook.
 
3-gun competitions also in Saskatoon, Prince Albert. Agoge tactical regimen also has some training you may enjoy. Why not run some 3-gun competitions yourself? Sometimes you have to take the initiative.
