Once again Casey at Tactical Ordnance hit this one out of the ball park, my idea with a highly portable shotgun that would serve as a multipurpose platform. Full Vang Comp Systems barrel treatment, ghost ring sights with built in picatinny rail, follower & safety, Duracoated OD green, Magpul stock & MCS forend, 10 inch Dlask barrel, added the Mystery Ranch DAP & Outdoor Research Ironside gloves & Haley Strategic patch to complete excellent companies & products.

Now that is nice, the ultimate short 870.

How well does it pattern and group slugs?

The Vang Comp Treatment to the barrel is amazing for patterning, I also only use Federal low velocity LE133 OO 8 pellet buckshot & Federal low velocity LE127RS 1 ounce slugs that are great performers.

AHHHH, I live my live vicariously through you, that is a thing of beauty, and I see your keeping Casey busy, Merry Christmas bud, I see it came early for you! :)

Mean looking machine.

That's probably THE best forend I've seen for an ultra-short pump.

It's got a nice deep pocket to keep your hand from ever slipping in front of the muzzle.

Nice.

Was this yours coming out of the oven as posted on their Facebook page the other day?

Yup. Very nice indeed. No doubt it wasn't cheap to do either.

It would be a perfect size for a "trunk gun". You didn't need the Magpul cheek riser to get proper sight picture with the GRS?

No need to have the cheek riser & unless you are running a RDS

Nice and clean, I like it.

I've always admired his work and I have a couple ideas kicking around in my head that would be right up his alley. Sigh.... someday.

He posts pics on Facebook? Damn, it seems like more companies are posting pics of their work on there but I refuse to join. Wish he posted them on his website too.

A beauty! Did he only backbore and lengthen the forcing cone -- I guess no need to port?

I like the high front post, the shorties need this as they so often shoot high with the bead.

LOL. Stay strong brother. I too have managed to stay away from bookface, despite temptations from stuff like Casey's work.
