Tactical site for Ruger SR22 Rifle

I looking for an affordable tactical site for my new Ruger SR22, I would like to stay under the $300 mark and have at least 4 power magnification. The gun will be mainly used for shooting gophers and I'd like to stick with an illuminated tactical site, as im looking for something a little different then the rest of my rifles.

So far the only one I've come across that looks decent is the bushnell AR 1-4 illuminated scope

If you are shooting gophers and not going to get into any "speed" steel shooting, you may wish to buy a higher magnification scope than 4X. I don't know how your SR22 groups, but I suspect that you will be shooting only up to about 100 yds with it. At that range you might like a 3-9X or a 4-12X scope to 'aim small' on the critters. I have tried my AR .22 with red dots and 1-4X scopes and have settled on a 3-9X for my 50 yd target shooting.
 
I went with the Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32 rimfire on my SR22. Decent scope for the purpose and about $200.
