Interesting way to reload quickly. I see it as more of a competition technique, but I look forward to trying it on the range.

He's gotten good at it, but I imagine there's a lot of fumbling before he got there.
I won't use it, but that's just cause I don't like side saddles.
 
Pretty sporty, I could never pull it off well enough due to past hand injuries though.
 
Interesting method.

I've seen a few people who can load very fast from a side-saddle.
It does take some practice though.
 
Interesting technique. I tried it with my Supernova and Mesa Tactical side saddle but there is not enough room between the reciever and the shells in the side saddle for me to easy grab and extract the second shell with my pinkie. I can get my pinkie on the shell but it is then too tightly wedged against the reciever to smoothly extract the shell.
Too bad as it looks like another good method to add to my repertoire.

I'm thinking that this technique might be slightly easier with the elastic+velcro style of side-saddle.

Just because you don't need to pull the shell exactly 90 degrees from the gun.

You can pull the shell on a bit of an angle with your pinky, and still get it out.
