Who says lever actions can't be precision guns?
Just got back from the range. This baby shoots. Too bad the wind didn't die down, (wanted to paper 100yrd but there were gusts about 10-20 mph and would be a waste of time). This group is almost as good as my Anschutz 1712. Group opens up after about 7 rounds do to heat. This gun loves the Hornady 30gr V-Max. The 40gr CCI not so much, however the CCI rounds did splash some clay targets offhand at 100 yards. Scope is 4.5 to 14X leupold. Time to look for a nice 12X AO target dot high gloss with turrets and some quick release rings.
