Hey I already have a Ruger Mark 3 and love it.
Just the kids dont think its cool enough. lol
They always want to shot my G17 or baby eagle and the 9mm ammo is killing me.

I want something that works as good as my ruger!!!

Sig Mosquito. ah no thanks I personally have never seen one that worked right.

I was looking at a G17 conversion kit but they are like $579 plus %14 tax.
Then I saw that Questar has a SIG 229 in 22lr $679 so $100 more for a whole gun.
Cant seem to find any 1911 kits and will they fit a Norc 1911A1 ?
What else am I missing ??

As always Thanks

I got my G17 .22 AA kit from Wolverine for $477 plus tax and shipping. Total was just under $565. Downside is that it only comes with one mag and spare mags are just over $50!!! I made the mistake of not ordering a spare one when I ordered the kit and ended up having to pay almost $75 for a spare mag. Would have been cheaper to have only had to pay for shipping once instead of twice.

But I'm happy with it as I can now practice with cheap ammo while I work on proper grip, trigger control and sight alignment using the same frame and trigger as the 9mm. $0.05 per shot sure beats $0.35 per shot any day! :)

[/IMG]Dry firing is way cheaper than any .22 conversion kit and just as effective.
I saw this on the net; a pretty interesting and cool (in a utilitarian-looking sort of way) pistol in .22LR. It was an AR-7 made into a pistol.

Looks like the Explorer Pistol. :yingyang:

Loving the magazine!

Mine also runs just fine.... I think the problem is guys want to feed them the cheapo ammo. That's when you have problems.

I ran cheap fedral through mine all day long with no problems. It did prefer to be clean and heavily greased up, but who doesn't?

Guns are like a woman... mine dont like the cheap stuff.
Sigh women can't live with 'em, can't shoot 'em.

If the kids want a BLACK gun, get a Browning Buckmark Camper model. I think they'd like the black frame, slide, and barrel, and LOVE the gold trigger!!!

Plus, it will eat almost any .22 ammo you care to feed it!!!

Ruger MKIII 22/45 Steel Gun

I'm new to the forum and because of the price of ammo have gone from my STI open gun to a Ruger MKIII 22/45 for shooting steel lots of fun and pockets don't have to be as deep. It has a Tactical Solutions Pac Lite barrel, Tactical Solutions Compensator, C-more dot, VQ trigger group, aftermarket grip, extended base pad, and tuned mags.

Nice looking pistol. Is the metal upper really green or is it just the photo?
