Hey all.

How about a thread for SR-22s? Only SR-22s. I know several people have them . My wife knows how much I want one. If you have some time and options put into your SR, I would love to see it. I am sure others would as well.

I just bought one yesterday. No add ons yet but im pretty excited. I'm gonna get a red dot sight and a bunch of stuff from iron eagle.]

Boy there rails and stuff are sure expencive on there site , holy crap. I would be looking over at Dlask first X10

I notice you have a Butler Creek mag. Have you ever thought of painting it? I only have a 10/22 Carbine at the moment. However, even with that, I couldn't stand the look of the tupperware tube hanging out of it. I primed and painted both of mine flat black. I put a strip of 3/8" painter's tape down the back, to the length of 25rds. Great sight window!

bcboy i love those iron sights! Im ordering the MBUS folding sights this week, what is the make of yours and do they fold?

I'm in, as most SR-22's are, this is a work in progress - cheap knockoff optic is temporary, going to strip the paint off the mags and use a nice krylon instead of the sh$t-paste I used.
Then soon to add CTR stock, back up sights, short barrel, and some internals.. Never thought i'd end up being into a 22 for this much - for what the end-cost is going to be, may has well have bought an XCR or an AR!!
Either way, love the SR, inexpensive 22 cal and easy to go shoot any old place I like :cool:

Awesome rifles you guys have... So far I have just bought the B.C. steel lips mags and a vortex SPARC for mine. The DLASK rail kit will be next .
