Does anyone know anything about the privately owned Tadenac Lake and the Tedenac Club that used to (or may still) operate south of the 12 Mile Bay / Moose Deer Point area?
I own property on Go Home Lake in Georgian Bay Township a couple of miles to the south and have come across their property line during deer drives, atv rides, etc. I have always wondered about the goings on there, and from what I have heard the place is dormant.
I understand that this was quite an exclusive club in the 1950's 60's and 70's but have heard that the majority of membership are now elderly and there are very limited operations on the property at this time, if at all.
Just curious - there has always been plenty of stories about stocked lakes, imported game species etc. and of course the fact that this is the only instance in Canda (apparently) where someone actually owns a lake and river bed as deeded to them by the King.
