Tag Clarification

Hello folks,

Just trying to confirm what is the truth. I have an antlerless deer tag for WMU13 in Ontario. Can I put this tag on a buck instead? Or do I need to purchase a "buck" tag? Any clarification would be great.

You can put that tag on a buck in any WMU in Ontario.

If you purchase one of the surplus tags in WMU13 it will be for anterless, your first license is for buck or anterless if succesful in draw.

I also have a question in relation to tags. I did not apply for an antlerless tag, but I found out this morning I got a tag in the controlled hunt (92B). Once I buy my seal, am I able to use it for bow during the open season, or is a controlled hunt tag only good for the controlled hunt in the week I chose?

Controlled hunt tags are only valid during the controlled hunt, in the WMU issued.
