I've never been a fan of Kydex holsters because (for me at least) the screws seem to fall out and as they wear they imbed into the finish of your firearm. Nothing beats the feeling of going to reholster only to find your pistol wants to fall out.
Anyhow since I've always been a fan of leather Ive amassed a bit of a leather collection similar to that of Imelda Marco's shoes; typically favoring Galco and Bianchi occasionally available from Epps, but generally purchased thru various police supply shops in T.O. They dont need a review, but you pay for the quality you get.
I've also purchased two from Target which are made by "The Master's Choice" and they were both such pieces of utter Crap that I wouldn't resell them on the EE for fear of a bad trader rating...Im guessing 'The Master' is a big fan of Mr Henkey the Christmas poo also...
So I was happy when I saw CanAm selling a new (to me) brand called Tagua. Since they are made in Paraguay and NOT CHINA with vegetable tanned full grain cowhide; I thought I thought Id give them a try to see what showed up in the mail. To be quite frank, I'm really impressed with the quality of my new holster, Its double stitched the way a quality holster should be and made with thick (stiff) leather, the typical 2 day wax paper break in technique has left it perfect, and I'm happy with the cost point over what else is available retail.
So if anyone's on the fence about investing a whopping $35-$50 dollars on a %100 leather holster I say go for it, there's plenty of reviews online if you don't take my word for it.
